Parliament unanimously supported equal rights for low-waged migrants
The Immigration Ministry is currently deciding on the actual implementation of equal rights for low-waged migrants.
Under the current immigration system, migrant workers who are on temporary immigration status are particularly vulnerable. They often cannot speak out for their rights out of fear and risk of being fired and being sent back. It can result in not being able to work in Canada again. I am calling in solidarity with migrant workers and I am calling on you to ensure full and permanent immigration status for all without exclusions.
